How to Reach Conqueror in PUBG Mobile (Realistic Plan)

Conqueror is a time commitment more than a skill ceiling. Here is what the ranking system rewards, which mode to push, and the placement strategy that protects your points.

How to Reach Conqueror in PUBG Mobile (Realistic Plan)

Conqueror is less about being the best player in the lobby and more about protecting rating over hundreds of matches. Players with excellent aim stall at Ace; players with average aim and good discipline reach Conqueror every season. The difference is decision-making in the last ten minutes of a match.

How the point system rewards you

Ranked points come from two sources: placement and kills. Placement is weighted more heavily than most players assume, which is why an aggressive drop that dies at 60th place costs far more than it looks like it does.

  • Top 10 placements consistently pay positive rating even with one or two kills.
  • Kills without placement rarely cover the cost of an early death above Ace.
  • Survival time quietly contributes, which is why late rotations are worth the patience.

Choose your mode deliberately

ModeDifficultyWho should push here
Classic soloHardestPlayers with excellent 1v1 mechanics and no squad.
Classic duoBalancedPlayers with one reliable partner.
Classic squadEasiest to placeMost players — a coordinated squad places consistently.
Arena / TDMSeparate ladderNot applicable to Classic Conqueror.

Squad is the most forgiving because a single mistake costs one teammate rather than the whole match — as long as the squad plays together.

The rotation that protects your rating

  1. Drop on the edge of a medium-loot zone. Contested hot drops are where rating dies. You want a gun, armour and enough healing, then a clear route.
  2. Move on the edge of the blue zone. Rotating early through open ground turns you into a target; rotating late through the closed zone kills you. Play the rim.
  3. Hold compounds, not fields. A building you control in the top 20 is worth more than any kill count.
  4. Take fights only with an exit. If you cannot retreat from the engagement, skip it.
  5. Play the final zone for position. Arriving first to the last circle wins more matches than arriving with more kills.

What actually costs players Conqueror

  • Tilt. Losing three matches and then hot-dropping to “get it back” is how a rating collapses in one evening.
  • Random squads. A squad that does not communicate is worse than solo play for placement.
  • Playing tired. Rating losses cluster in the last hour of a session.
  • Switching modes mid-push. Rating does not transfer the way players expect.

How long it takes

From Diamond, expect roughly 120–200 matches to reach Conqueror with a positive win rate and consistent top-ten placements. At four matches an evening, that is a season-long project, not a weekend one. Set the goal for the next season and start now.

Mechanically, the two upgrades that raise your placement rate fastest are gyroscope recoil control and a stable frame rate. Everything else is decision-making.
