Every cosmetic system in PUBG Mobile funnels through coupons eventually. They are the free route to crate items, and they are the reason a patient player can end a season with Mythic outfits while a rushed player has nothing but duplicates.
The two coupon types

Both are single-use, both expire only when the crate is removed, and both are released far more generously than most players realise — codes, missions, events, Royale Pass and anniversary mail all pay coupons.
Where coupons come from
- Redeem codes — the largest single source during event weeks. See free rewards.
- Daily and weekly missions — small but relentless.
- Event token shops — convert tokens into coupons before the event closes.
- Royale Pass — regular coupon drops along the reward track.
- Loyalty and comeback mail — arrives without any action from you.
The timing rule that matters
Do not open crates the moment you receive a coupon. Two windows are worth waiting for:
- Rate-up periods. During promoted windows, specific high-value items get a boosted drop rate. The same coupon has a materially better expected return.
- New crate releases. Fresh crates have wider rarity pools and fewer duplicate entries, so early pulls are more likely to be new items.
Stacking coupons through an event and spending them all in one rate-up window is how players pull Mythic items without paying.
Should you ever buy coupons with UC?

The duplicate problem
