Royale Pass is the most common place PUBG Mobile players spend UC, and the most common place they regret it. The reason is almost always the same: they bought the pass and did not finish the missions.
Here is what the two tiers actually return, and how to decide in thirty seconds whether a given season is worth your UC.
What you get
| Tier | Typical cost | What it returns |
|---|---|---|
| Free pass | 0 UC | A handful of cosmetics, some coupons and RP currency from free missions. |
| Elite | Mid-tier UC | The full reward track, RP badges, and UC back through the mission track. |
| Elite Plus | Higher UC | Everything in Elite, a starting rank boost, and a larger UC return. |
Prices vary by region and season, which is why we do not quote exact numbers — check the RP screen in your client, then compare it to the UC codes available from the UC codes hub to lower your effective cost.
The only question that matters
Will you finish roughly 70% of the RP missions this season? That is the break-even point in practice. Below it, the UC return shrinks, the rank boost is wasted, and you paid for a reward track you did not complete. Above it, Royale Pass is comfortably the best cosmetic value in the game.
Elite or Elite Plus?
- Choose Elite if you play a few matches most days and want the cosmetics without overcommitting.
- Choose Elite Plus if you play daily and will finish the track early. The early rank unlock means you get the top-tier rewards weeks sooner, and the larger UC return effectively refunds part of the purchase.
- Skip the pass entirely if you are taking a break, or if you only want one specific store outfit — buying that item directly is cheaper than a pass you will not finish.
How to finish the track without grinding
- Do the daily missions every day. They are short and they are where most of the RP points come from.
- Stack weekly missions in one session. Most weeks have overlapping objectives — one long session completes several at once.
- Use the RP mission coupons. Elite Plus hands these out and they exist specifically to skip the awkward missions.
- Never leave missions until the last week. Catch-up is the number one reason players miss rewards they already paid for.
Where the UC actually comes from
Most seasons the UC you spend on Royale Pass can be partly replaced by redeeming UC codes as they appear. They expire fast, so the habit that pays off is checking the code list on every update day rather than once a month. See how to get free UC.
