How to Get Free Skins in PUBG Mobile (Outfits, Guns & Vehicles)

Free skins come from four places: redeem codes, events, crate coupons and the Mythic Forge. Here is how to stack them so you never pay UC for a cosmetic you could have earned.

How to Get Free Skins in PUBG Mobile (Outfits, Guns & Vehicles)

PUBG Mobile’s cosmetics are expensive if you buy them outright and surprisingly cheap if you stack the free sources. There are four of them, and players who use all four consistently end up with a Mythic-quality inventory without spending UC.

Source 1: redeem codes

The largest free source, and the one that requires the least effort — but also the one that expires fastest. Outfit and skin codes are released during collaborations, anniversaries and regional events, and are usually gone within a week. Check free rewards on a schedule rather than when you remember.

Source 2: event token shops

Every seasonal event hands out tokens from missions, and those tokens convert into coupons, crate tickets and outright cosmetic items. The critical detail: token shops close with the event. Unspent tokens are worthless. Spend before the countdown ends, even if you have to take the lower-value item.

Source 3: crate coupons

Classic and Premium Crate Coupons let you open crates without UC. They arrive from codes, missions, events and the Royale Pass. The strategy is to bank them and spend during a rate-up or Lucky Spin window rather than opening crates the moment you receive a coupon. See the crate coupon guide.

Source 4: the Mythic Forge

The Mythic Forge converts surplus materials into Mythic items over time. It is slow, but it is the only guaranteed route to a Mythic outfit without paying. If you are patient, dumping every spare material into the Forge is the correct long-term play.

What not to do with your UC

  • Do not buy Classic Crates directly. The drop rates are unkind and coupons are genuinely easy to farm.
  • Do not chase a single Lucky Spin item. Spin costs escalate; the last few pulls can cost more than the item is worth.
  • Do not buy cosmetics for a gun you will replace. Weapon skins are tied to specific weapons, and the meta shifts every season.

The efficient weekly routine

  1. Redeem every fresh code (five minutes).
  2. Complete daily and weekly missions (they pay coupons).
  3. Convert event tokens into coupons before the event closes.
  4. Bank coupons until a rate-up window.
  5. Dump leftover materials into the Mythic Forge.

Follow that and the only cosmetics you will ever pay for are the ones with a hard UC price tag — which, most seasons, is none of them. Pair this with free UC methods if you want to accelerate it.
