How to Play PUBG Mobile on PC (Emulator Guide)

You can play PUBG Mobile on a PC through an emulator — but only the official ones, and only if you understand how matchmaking separates emulator lobbies. Here is the setup.

How to Play PUBG Mobile on PC (Emulator Guide)

PUBG Mobile on a PC is entirely possible through an emulator, and it is the fastest way to improve mechanically — a mouse gives you precision that no thumbstick matches. What matters is doing it safely and understanding what changes.

Use an official emulator only

Only the officially licensed emulator is supported. Unofficial emulators, modified clients and “performance” builds carry a permanent ban risk, because they modify the game client. If the emulator is not the official one, do not install it.

Setup checklist

  1. Install the official emulator and let it complete its full setup, including any virtualisation components it requests.
  2. Log in with the same account you use on mobile, so your progress and inventory carry over.
  3. Set resolution to 1080p or lower. Higher resolutions cost frames for no competitive benefit.
  4. Set the frame rate cap to match your monitor — 60 Hz panels gain nothing above 60.
  5. Map keys to WASD, shift for sprint, space for jump, and mouse buttons for fire and ADS.
  6. Bind peek left and peek right. Keyboard peeking is the biggest advantage over mobile.

Matchmaking differences

Emulator players are matched with other emulator players in most modes. You are not farming mobile players — you are competing against people who also have precise aim. Practise accordingly: the mechanical bar is higher, but tactical mistakes are punished the same way.

Performance settings on the emulator

  • Graphics: Smooth. Same logic as mobile — frame rate beats fidelity.
  • CPU cores: allocate 4 if you have them; more rarely helps and can hurt.
  • Memory: 4 GB is plenty. Over-allocating starves the operating system.
  • Close the browser. Emulators and browsers compete for the same memory bandwidth.

Is it fair?

In emulator-only lobbies, yes — everyone has the same input advantage. Where it gets unfair is tournament settings, which usually require mobile devices, so an emulator-trained player can struggle if they only ever compete on PC.

Codes still apply

Your account is your account: codes redeemed while playing on PC land in the same Mailbox as on mobile. Use the current code list exactly as you would on a phone, and remember that redeeming always happens in the browser, never inside the game.
