Best Sensitivity Settings for PUBG Mobile (2026 Guide)

Copying a pro player’s sensitivity will not make you better. Building your own from three test drills will. Here is the framework plus starting values for phones and tablets.

Best Sensitivity Settings for PUBG Mobile (2026 Guide)

Sensitivity is the most copied and least understood setting in PUBG Mobile. A professional’s values are tuned for their screen size, grip, finger layout and gyroscope habits — on your device they will feel wrong, and you will blame your aim.

Build your own instead. It takes about fifteen minutes and it is permanent.

Start from a sane baseline

These values suit a phone around 6.5 inches held in two fingers. Adjust from here rather than starting from zero.

SettingPhone (6.5")Tablet (10"+)
Free LookModerateLower
Camera (TPP, no scope)Moderate–HighModerate
Camera (FPP)HighModerate–High
Red Dot / HoloHighModerate
2x / 3x ScopeModerate–HighModerate
4x / 6x / 8xLow–ModerateLow

The pattern that matters: the bigger the zoom, the lower the sensitivity. A scope magnifies your thumb movement, so high values at 6x turn a small drag into an uncontrollable swing.

Three drills to find your numbers

  1. Wall tracking (no scope). Stand ten metres from a wall, hold fire and strafe. Drag your thumb left and right to keep the crosshair on one spot. If you overshoot, lower camera sensitivity. If you cannot keep up, raise it.
  2. Red dot flick. In the training ground, aim between two targets five metres apart and snap between them. You want to land on target in one motion, not two corrections.
  3. Scope micro-adjust. With a 4x, track a moving target. If the reticle jumps past the target, drop 4x sensitivity until the movement feels boringly predictable.

Repeat until your corrections become a single motion. That is your correct value — not the number a streamer posted.

Gyroscope: on, and always on

If you have not used gyroscope, start with Scope On so it only activates while aiming, then move to Always On once it feels natural. Gyroscope recoil control is the single biggest mechanical advantage available on mobile, because it uses your wrist rather than your thumb. Full setup: gyroscope guide.

Free Look is underrated

Free Look lets you check behind and beside you without turning the camera away from the direction you are running. Competitive players bind it to a thumb-reachable button and use it every time they cross an open field. Lower sensitivity is better here — you want deliberate, short checks, not a swipe.

Things that matter more than sensitivity

  • A stable frame rate. An inconsistent 60 FPS beats a stable 40 and loses to a stable 60. See FPS guide.
  • Comfortable button layout. If your fire button is where your thumb naturally rests, you win fights you would otherwise lose.
  • Practice, not settings. Sensitivity is a multiplier on skill, not a substitute for it.
