Premium Crates hold the best non-Mythic items in PUBG Mobile, and Premium Crate Coupons let you open them for free. They are rarer than Classic coupons but they are genuinely farmable if you know all four sources.
Source 1: redeem codes
The biggest single source during event weeks. Anniversary, version-launch and collaboration codes frequently bundle Premium coupons alongside UC. Because codes expire in hours, checking the free rewards list on update days is the whole skill.
Source 2: event token shops
Almost every seasonal event offers Premium coupons in its token shop, usually near the top of the price tier. Convert tokens here first — the token shop closes with the event and unspent tokens are simply lost.
Source 3: missions
Weekly missions pay Premium coupons more often than daily missions. If you only have time for one category, do the weekly set — it also tends to complete itself during normal play rather than requiring dedicated grinding.
Source 4: Royale Pass
Both Elite and Elite Plus reward tracks include Premium coupons. It is one of the reasons the pass outvalues buying crates directly: you get the cosmetics and the coupons that open more crates. See the Royale Pass breakdown.
When to spend them
Do not open Premium Crates the moment you get a coupon. Wait for one of two windows:
- Rate-up periods — a promoted item gets a boosted drop rate, so the same coupon has better expected value.
- Fresh crate releases — a new crate has a wider rarity pool and fewer duplicates, so early pulls are more likely to be new.
Banked coupons spent in one window consistently outperform the same coupons spent immediately.
What to do with duplicates
Duplicates convert into materials rather than nothing. Save them for the Mythic Forge — that is the path from “a lot of Premium coupons” to an actual Mythic item. See the Mythic outfit guide.
Quick reality check
Premium coupons are free but not unlimited. A player who collects every coupon from codes, events, missions and the pass typically opens 15–30 Premium Crates per season without paying — enough for a strong cosmetic set and meaningful Forge progress.
