PUBG Mobile does not publish a single public calendar, but the event cycle is consistent enough to plan around. Knowing the pattern means you are never surprised by an event ending without you spending your tokens.
The yearly cycle
| Period | Event type | Typical rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Q1 | New season launch + Lunar New Year | Cosmetic sets, coupons, UC codes |
| Q2 | Collaboration season | Anime or brand crossover outfits |
| Q3 | Esports season + mid-year events | UC codes during broadcasts, event tokens |
| Q4 | Anniversary + winter events | The biggest code batches of the year |
Exact dates shift every year and differ by region. The structure, however, does not.
The three event types that matter
1. Seasonal events
Long-running events with a token shop. Play, earn tokens, convert them into coupons and exclusive cosmetics. The token shop closes with the event — this is where players lose the most value.
2. Collaboration events
Anime, film, music and brand tie-ins. These carry the highest-value cosmetics because the licensing window is short and the items never return. They also release the most code batches per week. If a collaboration you care about is live, check codes daily.
3. Anniversary and milestone events
Anniversaries and download milestones produce the single largest UC and coupon drops of the year. If you only redeem codes once or twice a year, make it an anniversary.
How to never miss a reward
- Note the closing date the moment an event starts. Every reward you lose is lost to a date, not to difficulty.
- Spend tokens a week before the end, not on the final day. Servers get congested and events occasionally close early.
- Claim mail immediately. In-game mail has a deletion timer.
- Check codes during events. Event weeks are when fresh codes appear fastest — see the code hub.
- Play the missions you would play anyway. Most event missions overlap with normal ranked play.
Regional differences
BGMI, KR/JP, VNG, Taiwan and MENA clients run their own calendars with regional collaborations that never appear on the global client. If you play a regional build, follow that region’s announcements: BGMI, KR/JP, VNG, Taiwan, MENA.
Event rewards are the second-largest free source after codes. Combined with the free skins routine, you can keep a competitive cosmetic inventory without spending UC.
